A Little About Me
My path to UX began with a fascination for human behavior and problem-solving. I earned a degree in Cognitive Science from UC Merced, where I studied how people think, learn, and make decisions. That foundation sparked my interest in uncovering insights and building thoughtful solutions.
At Gem, I worked in tech sales, connecting with clients to understand their pain points and communicate product value. The role strengthened my ability to empathize, ask the right questions, and think critically, all of which now shape how I approach design.
Through Designlab’s UX Academy, I gained hands-on experience working with real clients on real-life problems. I’ve learned that the best designs come from listening to users, testing early, and refining through iteration.
My Interests
I find inspiration by hiking Bay Area trails and exploring new places through travel. My love of travel began during a semester abroad in Hong Kong, and Japan and Thailand have since become favorite destinations.
These experiences keep me curious, creatively recharged, and open to new perspectives.
